Job summary

West Gables Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Select Medical, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist in Miami, FL. This full-time role offers compensation between $82,690 and $111,280 per year, plus a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

You will evaluate patients, design and adjust therapy plans, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on brain, spinal, and neurological rehab. Our facility emphasizes growth, continuing education, and a strong support system with orientation, tuition

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
• CCC in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction.
• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients.
• Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities.
• Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, co-workers and self.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services and design of program delivery.
• Coordinatetreatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services as available community resources.

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association preferred
