AnthroMed Education in Madison Heights, MI seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year to support middle school through transition-aged students with significant disabilities in a center-based program.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with evaluations, IEPs, collaboration with teachers and families, and thorough documentation. Experience with AAC devices is preferred and clinical support is provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or in progress).
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Michigan (LARA).
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain CCC-SLP.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time speech and language therapy services, Monday-Friday.
• Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and implement evidence-based interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to support students’ communication skills.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communications.
• Utilize IEP system for management and compliance.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and training opportunities.

Ideal candidates will be comfortable working with students requiring higher levels of support and have familiarity with AAC (high tech and low tech devices).

• Utilize IEP system for management and compliance.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities.
• Enjoy a dedicated office space for therapy sessions and planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or in the process of completing).
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Michigan (LARA).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain CCC-SLP.
