Job Summary and Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders and speech-related difficulties in clients of all ages. This position involves developing individualized therapy plans and working collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language abilities.
• Conduct swallowing evaluations and treatment, including videofluoroscopy.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Implement therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategies.
• Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate and train clients, families, and caregivers on exercises and techniques for continued progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and progress tracking.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Communication Disorders holding a Master's Degree or higher.
• Current CA SLP license. Recent board-eligible graduates will be considered for provisional appointments.
• CFY candidates must apply at the conclusion of CFY (required for student supervision).
• Speech Language Pathologist: CA (SLP: CA).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR (AHA BLS).
• Fire Safety card required. (must obtain within 90 days of start date).

Pay Range

$52.04 - $77.42 /hour
