Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist for our outpatient clinic. You will conduct evaluations, develop and monitor individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a dynamic therapy team to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, valid state license, CPR certification, and at least one year of experience. We value strong communication, organization, and the ability to lift patients as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current SLP license in state(s) of practice.
• CPR certification as required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injury preferred.
• Effective communication and professionalism in verbal and written interactions.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; patient handling up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans; attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordinated care and improved outcomes.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
• Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members
• Communicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

What you will need:

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
• Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions
• Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Moving, lifting,or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
• Duties require fine motor skills , visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periods
• Additional physical requirements including: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times
