Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or ability to obtain before starting).
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Set and implement treatment goals and programs based on full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services as part of a coordinated team under medical orders.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate the plan of care.
• Deliver private, function-based treatment sessions to residents.

• Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
• Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach

Pay Range

USD $39.00 - USD $47.00 /Hr.
