Job summary

Jump Ahead Pediatrics in Alachua County, Florida is actively seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist for a part-time, school-based role. This exclusive school placement offers stability with guaranteed hours and no travel.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders; develop and implement IEPs; provide therapy; monitor progress; and collaborate with educators and families. Florida licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with state licensure.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required.
• Florida Department of Education certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and swallowing disorders in students.
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Providing therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills.
• Monitoring progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed.

Setting: School-Based Services (Pediatric)

• Exclusive school placement (no travel required)
• Hours: Times / Schedule vary and school is flexible
• Compensation for the full scheduled day, including prep time, note time, and lunch.
• 5-10 students (30 minute sessions each)

Responsibilities:

• Assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and swallowing disorders in students.
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Providing therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills.
• Monitoring progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed.
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals.
