Job summary

CommonSpirit Health at Home is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) to join our home-based care team in Cincinnati, OH. The therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in patients at home.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with families and other health professionals, and document progress to meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active SLP license in state of practice with CCC-SLP from ASHA.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical Speech Therapy experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to patients in their homes, including techniques to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
• Customize therapy strategies to meet individual patient goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and standards.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

**This is a PRN Position**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join the American Mercy Health at Home team. The Speech Therapist will assess, diagnose and treat patients with speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders for patients in their homes. This role involves developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and working collaboratively with families and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy to patients in their homes, including techniques to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
• Customize therapy strategies to meet individual patient goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and standards.
• Provide training and support for family members to assist with therapeutic exercise and strategies at home.

Job Requirements

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active registered SLP license in the state which you practice and certification (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Must obtain and maintain current CPR/BLS Certification
• One-year Speech Therapy experience in a clinical setting.
• Current Drivers License
• Comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations
