Job summary

Providence Centralia Hospital is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with speech, language or swallowing disorders. The role supports inpatients and outpatients and participates in staff and family education to promote understanding and care.

The position requires an ASHA-approved master's degree, a Washington SLP license upon hire, and National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association.

Provides diagnostic and therapeutic treatment to patients who exhibit speech language or swallowing disorders and are inpatients or outpatients of Providence Centralia Hospital or are seen through contractual speech/language services. Education of staff, patients and family is emphasized relative to diagnosed speech language or swallowing disorder.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's Degree: A graduate of a program approved by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Washington Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
