Job summary

Job description

The UVM Medical Center, in partnership with The Vermont Early Hearing Detection & Intervention Program (VTEHDI), is currently seeking a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct care to children in educational settings. This position is in person in the Rivendell Interstate School District.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and treatment in the areas of communication, cognition and swallowing.
• Teaching and working closely with families, case managers and providers for continued care after evaluation.
• Demonstrating dedication to professional growth and development and to the continuous improvement of care.
• Working within a cooperative team model of care.
• Supporting other SLPs by sharing caseloads and assisting colleagues as the need arises.
• AAC experience preferred.

Education

• Master's Degree from an Accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence for Speech‑Language Pathologists (CCC‑SLP) from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA), or current eligibility to obtain this certification, is required.

Experience
