Job summary

Waverly Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center, under new management, is seeking a Speech Therapist to assess and treat residents requiring speech therapy, ensuring services comply with all regulations. CF candidates accepted and a supportive team environment are emphasized.

The SLP will work with the care team to enhance communication, swallowing, and overall quality of life for residents, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed SLP in the state of VA.
• Experience in Speech Therapy with older adults is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify needs and deliver speech therapy interventions to patients in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with center staff to promote the highest possible physical, mental and psychosocial well-being for patients.
