Job summary

HealthPRO Pediatrics is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists for in-person, school-based roles for the 2026-2027 year (8/24/2026-6/17/2027). There are two openings: one full-time and one part-time, both in-person in Bel Air, Maryland.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, delivering therapy across speech, language, voice, and swallowing, and coordinating with families and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, or eligible for licensure.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification required.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and observations.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust plans; educate families.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations. Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
  • Treatment and Education: Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathology, or license eligible
  • Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
  • Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
