Job summary

A leading educational technology provider in California is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide essential services aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The successful candidate will assess students' needs, collaborate with educators, and implement therapeutic strategies to enhance communication and motor skills. This is a full-time position requiring a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid license. The role involves maintaining accurate documentation and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications

About the job Speech Language Pathologist

Job Type: - Contact/Full Time

  • Provide SLP services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and individual needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' functional abilities and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the education team to address students' therapeutic goals within the classroom environment.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions and strategies to enhance students' motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and independence.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of students' progress, treatment plans, and session notes. Communicate effectively with parents, educators, and other professionals regarding students' therapy goals and progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and other collaborative activities to support students' educational and therapeutic needs. Stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices and trends in school-based Speech Language Pathologist
