Job summary

Mountain Lake Services seeks an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for an early intervention role with a flexible 16-hour schedule across Essex County, NY. The position focuses on comprehensive assessments, therapy, and timely documentation including IFSP reports.

Master's degree and NYS SLP certification (or equivalent) are required, with CCC-SLP or NYS Teacher of Speech & Hearing Handicapped credentials preferred. Prior work with children under 6 is welcomed.

• Experience with children under 6 preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech therapy evaluations using standardized evaluations and clinical judgement.
• Provide service notes, monthly billing, evaluation reports, annual reports, IFSP reports, and submit timely.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide SLP services.

Are you an experienced Speech Language Pathologist looking to work in early intervention and looking for a flexible schedule? Then Mountain Lake Services might be the place for you!

We are offering a flexible 16-hour schedule for our part-time Speech Language Pathologist position that provides services all throughout Essex County, NY.

What you get to do: Includes but is not limited to the following.

Perform speech therapy evaluations using standardized evaluations and clinical judgement to make assessments on a child's current levels of functioning and determine the need for speech therapy.

Provide service notes, monthly billing, evaluation reports, annual reports, IFSP reports and make sure they are submitted in a timely manner.

Utilize evidence based practices to provide SLP services.

Requirements:

Master's Degree in related field. NYS certification as Speech/Language Pathologist, Certification of Clinical Competence from American Speech & Hearing Association, and/or NYS certification as Teacher of Speech & Hearing Handicapped.

Experience as a SLP working with children under 6 years old is preferred but not required.
