Job summary

Clare-Gladwin RESD is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver comprehensive services in a school setting for students with disabilities. The role emphasizes evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders to support educational outcomes.

The SLP will collaborate with special education teams, general staff, families, and community partners to implement IEPs that foster communication development, academic success, and social-emotional well-being throughout the 2026-2027

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
  • Michigan licensure (LARA) required.
  • Valid Michigan driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students with disabilities in the school setting.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication disorders to support educational performance.

School-year position following the district calendar; Five (5) days per week; 7.25 hours per day

Salary Range

According to the terms of the Master Agreement for AFT

Job Objective

The Special Education Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students with disabilities in the school setting. This position is dedicated to evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders that impact educational performance. The Speech-Language Pathologist collaborates with special education teams, general education staff, families, and community partners to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that promote student communication development, academic success, and social-emotional well-being.

Qualifications Required
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program is required.
  • Certificates and/or licenses approved by the State of Michigan, LARA
  • Valid Michigan Driver's License
