Job summary

HOKALI is seeking enthusiastic instructors to lead the Speech and Debate program for after‑school enrichment in Town of Florida, NY. The role runs November 6 through December 18, with sessions Fridays 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM for 2nd/3rd grades.

You will supervise students, deliver safe and engaging activities, and use positive reinforcement to support attendance and participation. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth within HOKALI.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Must complete 3 hours of online training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise TK through 8th grade students during after‑school activities.
• Ensure safety and well‑being of students at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging enrichment activities.
• Foster positive social interactions and teamwork.

About the Role

We’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our growing team as After School Enrichment Educators.

This role focuses on supervising and engaging students during after-school enrichment programming. It’s ideal for educators who enjoy a dynamic environment and are passionate about creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences.

We're Actively Seeking passionate Instructors to lead this Speech and Debate program from November 6th to Dec 18th:

Fridays 02:30 PM - 03:30 PM

Grades: 2nd/3rd

Compensation: $60 p/hr.

In this role, you will:

• Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times
• Plan and lead engaging recreational and enrichment activities
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork
• Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
• Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe
