Job summary

University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) Europe invites qualified professionals to join the Speech program as adjunct faculty on-site in Adana, Turkey. The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech Communication or related field, professional experience in a related area, and experience teaching adults in higher education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Communication or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning.
• Professional experience in a related field.
• Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage students through frequent interaction that motivates them to succeed.
• Guide students in active collaboration and the application of their learning in problem- and project-based learning demonstrations.
• Provide rich and regular constructive feedback, utilizing rubrics effectively for the assessment of student work.
