Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a licensed Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in Windsor, North Carolina under a contract-full time arrangement. You will provide quality instructional services within an inclusive classroom, coordinating with general education staff and specialists to support individualized education programs.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, active state teaching certification, and dedication to federal and state standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred.
• State teaching certificate as required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience preferred.
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR and health requirements may be applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality services to special education students, K–12.
• Collaborate with general education staff to plan and implement student programs including special instruction, tutorials, and consultation.
