Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a dedicated special education teacher to diagnose and address learning, social, and emotional gaps.

You will collaborate with school teams and families to deliver SESI’s evidence-based instructional models in in-district classrooms and standalone schools. You’ll manage IEPs, develop lesson plans, support diverse learners, and apply behavior management strategies, including de-escalation and crisis response when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role preferred.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying developmental and cultural backgrounds.
• Use SESI’s instructional models to teach knowledge, nurture confidence, and meet student needs.
• Develop and maintain individualized, skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management strategies, including de-escalation techniques and crisis management when necessary to ensure safety.
• Maintain student documents such as IEPs and BIPs and incident reports.
• Drive and track student growth toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Supervise and monitor students across locations within the school.
