Job summary

Parallel Education in Indianapolis is Hiring SPED Substitute Teachers/Teaching Assistants. No experience required. Flexible hours, part-time or full-time options with weekly pay. You will support diverse learners and collaborate with IPS schools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Teaching license in Indiana preferred but not required (assistance offered)
• FBI and DCS background screening required
• Ability to work at least 2 full days per week
• SPED-focused role with ability to adapt to varied student needs

Responsibilities

• Maintain weekly schedule availability to accept opportunities
• Execute lesson plans per teacher guidance and school curriculum
• Uphold a positive learning environment and classroom order
• Familiarize with emergency protocols (fire drills, lockdowns)
• Take attendance according to school procedures
• Assist with special education tasks per student needs
