Delta-T Group North Jersey, Inc. is seeking Special Education Teachers in Morris and Somerset County, NJ for the 26-27 school year, with a Monday–Friday schedule through the end of the school year.

The compensation range is $47-$60/hr. This position requires NJDOE Teaching Certification and NJ Department of Education fingerprints, with the ability to teach reading and writing in classroom settings and collaborate with staff.

Qualifications

• NJDOE teaching certification required.
• NJ DOE fingerprints required; math certification or math teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions; maintain classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, teach, and evaluate instruction for students having difficulty with reading or writing.
• Work with students in small groups and in classroom settings.
• Meet and instruct students in the locations and at the times designated.
• Use positive verbal and non-verbal skills that enhance learning.
• Model non-discriminatory practices in all activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information concerning students, staff, or parent/guardian in all public settings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by program/building administrator(s).

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• * Plan, teach, and evaluate instruction for students having difficulty with reading or writing.
• * Work with students in small groups and in classroom settings.

• * Perform other related duties as assigned by program/building administrator(s) in accordance with school policies and practices.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• * NJDOE Teaching Certification
• * NJ Department of Education Fingerprints, Specialized Math Certification or Math teaching Experience
• * Ability to comply with written and or oral instructions
• * Ability to create an efficient working relationship with other personnel
• * Proficiency in maintaining efficient classroom management skills
• * Willingness to stand for most hours of the day, or sit for extensive periods of time
• * Full capability to give instructions in the absence of the "main" teacher
• * Covid Vaccination or must submit to weekly testing
