BRIDGEDALE ELEMENTARY in Metairie, Louisiana is seeking an Elementary Teacher (Target School + Target Content) - Sped Teacher to provide high-quality instruction to students with the greatest need.

A $2,000 stipend is available for teachers who choose a target school in the first year; target content areas include Special Education (all grades), Math (6–12), Physics, Chemistry, and ESL, requiring Louisiana Level 1+ or out-of-state content certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program.
• Valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate or eligibility for Practitioner's License.
• Certification in area of assignment.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mental, physical, emotional and social growth of students.
• Plan and prepare for classes, submitting lesson plans weekly.
• Maintain accurate records including attendance, health records and report cards.
• Develop and implement effective classroom management techniques.
• Communicate with parents about student progress.
