The substitute will teach or assist in both general and special education environments, coordinate with building administrators, and fulfill duties such as progress monitoring and documentation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Valid fingerprint-based background check required after hire.
• Written evidence of physical fitness (exam) completed within 90 days prior to start or 30 days after start.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individualized instruction to students with disabilities in the absence of the assigned teacher.
• Provide consultation to staff during team meetings and planning times in the absence of the assigned teacher.
• Submit records, reports, and assignments promptly and efficiently.
• Work cooperatively with staff to accomplish students' IEP goals and benchmarks.
• Provide input for student problem-solving.
• Consult with classroom teachers and other providers of caseload students.
• Maintain data on students to document performance and other pertinent information.
• Monitor student progress per schedule using identified tools.
• Participate in activities that promote professional development.
• Adhere to District policies, procedures, regulations, and directives.
