Job summary

Mysmarthire is seeking an SpEd. Behavior Educational Assistant to support students and reinforce learning in a classroom setting. The role involves working with small groups under supervision and helping implement instructional plans.

The ideal candidate will hold the required education credentials or pass the ParaPro assessment, demonstrate strong computer skills, and maintain excellent attendance while following the lead of a certified teacher.

Qualifications

• Hold an associate degree or higher, or 48 hours of college coursework or ParaPro Assessment.
• Must have working computer knowledge.
• Must be able to work with small groups of students to reinforce skills and provide constructive academic feedback.
• Must be a positive role model for young children.
• Excellent attendance.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Establish effective schedules and work routines.

• Hold an associates degree or higher; OR *Have an equivalent of two years of college coursework totaling 48 hours at an accredited institution of higher learning; OR *Pass the Education Testing Service (ETS) Para-Pro Assessment
