Job summary

Qualifications

• Supports students with disabilities in a self-contained classroom.
• Experience with CPI techniques or similar restraint methods used in duties.
• Ability to implement IEP modifications and follow teacher directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instructional setting and classroom discipline.
• Record keeping and testing student work.
• Supervise students during lunch, bus, field trips, and activities.
• Administer medications under district policies and state/federal laws.
• Assist with toileting and personal care as needed.
• Support with IEP meetings and instructional materials preparation.
