Join to apply for the Specimen Processor/Phlebotomist role at FirstHealth of the Carolinas.

Position Summary:
Will work as backup for several FH Lab Collection Centers and at MRH OP Lab, performing phlebotomy and specimen processing.

Responsibilities:

Obtain blood specimens by venipuncture and capillary methods from all age groups.
Provide direction and education for the collection of urine, stool, breath tests, and other laboratory specimens.
Process and prepare lab specimens for transport to the testing lab.
Perform lab order entry and result distribution to maintain continuity of care.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy Program, Medical Assisting Program, or a minimum of 6 months full-time experience in phlebotomy required.
ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
