Labcorp in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our team at the Fort Wayne Branch. Schedule: Mon–Fri 3:00pm–11:30pm, with rotating Saturdays. You will prepare specimens, route them, label accurately, and manage data entry in a fast-paced lab setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and prefers 1 year of lab/warehouse experience. Benefits and equal opportunity employment are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse is preferred.
• Comfortable handling biological specimens.
• Ability to accurately identify specimens and maintain quality control.

Responsabilités

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Identify and label specimens accurately.
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information.
• Resolve and document any problematic specimens.
