Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation are essential.
• Minimum 1 year of applicable work experience.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and instructions.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Receive and process specimen shipments from multiple couriers.
• Open, inspect, and properly handle incoming specimen shipments.
• Maintain specimen integrity and temperature requirements during processing.
• Scan shipments and update specimen information within internal databases.
• Sort and route specimens according to established procedures.
• Perform quality control checks on specimens, requisitions, and materials.
• Enter patient demographics and administrative information accurately.
• Image and archive requisition documents for laboratory records.
• Process specimen kits and perform manual aliquoting when required.
• Operate, maintain, and clean laboratory equipment and automation systems.
• Identify and resolve shipment discrepancies or misrouted specimens.
• Follow all SOPs, quality standards, and laboratory safety procedures.
