Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor to join our Indianapolis team. The role involves preparing lab specimens, routing to staging areas, accurate labeling, and shipping specimens to testing facilities. You will contribute to meeting production goals while maintaining data integrity in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and may have 1+ year experience in a related lab setting. Basic MS Office and strong attention to detail are expected.

LabCorp is seeking a Specimen Processor to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 5:00pm – 1:30am, and rotating Saturdays

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
• Meet department activity and production goals
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Resolve and document any problem specimens

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse

• Able to lift up to 40lbs.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
