Labcorp is seeking a dedicated team member for Specimen Processing and Accessioning in El Paso, TX. You will prepare laboratory specimens for analysis, unpack and route specimens, accurately identify and label them, and perform data entry of patient information in a timely manner.

This full-time role requires a High School Diploma or GED; preferred candidates have 1 year of experience in a lab or healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of experience in a lab or specimen processing preferred.
• 1 year or more of experience in healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Resolve and document problem specimens.
