Job summary

Caris Life Sciences is seeking a Sample Management Specialist to ensure the integrity of remnant biological specimens from receipt through disposition. You will manage the specimen lifecycle in LIMS, maintain chain of custody, and support research and clinical initiatives with accurate data handling.

The role requires on-site work, an associate degree or higher in biological sciences, and at least one year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Specimen Lifecycle Management: receive, catalog, store, retrieve, distribute, and track remnant specimens with chain of custody.
• Specimen Request Management: process requests with approvals, confirm availability, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Inventory Management: accurately catalog and reconcile specimen inventory; monitor storage conditions.
