Job summary

Millennium Health LLC is seeking a Full-Time Specimen Collector II in Hermiston, Oregon. You will collect urine and oral fluid specimens, process and package for shipping, and serve as a liaison between clinics and our laboratory.

The role supports patient care with accurate data entry and timely specimen handling. Ideal candidates have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in medical support, strong customer service, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience as a specimen collector or 1+ year in medical field supporting patients.
• 2+ years of customer service experience can substitute for medical experience.
• Must navigate smartphone and computer effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, HiTrust and confidentiality policies.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician orders and lab data.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
