Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming specimens and ensure transport integrity.
  • Verify patient identification and test orders.
  • Enter patient and specimen data into the LIMS/operation metrics.
  • Label specimens according to SOPs.
  • Assist with accessioning data quality and documentation.
  • Maintain lab area cleanliness and organization.
  • Escalate accessioning issues to Customer Service as needed.
  • Adhere to CLIA/CAP regulations and company policies.
  • Perform additional tasks as delegated by leads.
