Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required.
• Valid State of Florida RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols; adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assess assigned patients and evaluate plans, document nursing care, and report symptoms and changes.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patient responses and physician orders.
• Review, evaluate, and report diagnostic tests to assess patient condition.
• Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess and plan patient care.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Consider patient age and culture in treatment plans and provide relevant information.
• Offer psychological support to nurture a compassionate environment.
• Safely administer medications and maintain accurate records per regulations and orders.
• Communicate plan of care to patient, family, and team in a timely manner.
• Assist with discharge planning using available resources.
• Plan and adjust assignments to deliver superior patient care; seek assistance when needed.
• Operate medical equipment safely; serve as a preceptor for new staff.
