Qualifications

• Familiarity with drugs used to treat chronic illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Interact with departments to provide accurately dispensed prescriptions on time.
• Work under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Locate correct medication and strength to complete picking of orders.
• Prepare, count, label, and package pharmaceuticals for pharmacist approval.
• Purchase, receive and coordinate inventory.
• Maintain and update inventory recap reports.
• Maintain prescription logs and related documentation.
• Calibrate equipment and document calibration per policy.
• Assist with maintaining pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs.
