Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in IN.
• Current National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred.
• 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Process prescription orders accurately, entering patient and prescription data.
• Assist pharmacists and healthcare providers to support workflow efficiency.
• Coordinate specialty medication prescriptions for complex or chronic conditions.
• Manage prior authorizations and insurance requirements with payers.
• Coordinate patient onboarding and refills, ensuring therapy adherence.
• Handle medication distribution logistics including cold-chain and direct-to-patient shipping.
• Maintain documentation and reporting to meet REMS, FDA, and manufacturer program requirements.
• Provide high-touch patient support and address non-clinical questions.
• Ensure compliance with specialty pharmacy regulations and quality metrics.
