Elliot Health System in Manchester, NH is seeking a Pharmacist to lead the Specialty Pharmacy Program. You will work with Elliot Pharmacy at River's Edge and physician leadership to support specialty workflows and accreditation requirements, ensuring high-quality patient care.

The role is onsite, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with no holidays or weekends. You will oversee operations, accreditation standards (URAC/ACHC), data reporting, staff recruitment and training, and collaboration across

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from ACPE‑accredited school (BS or PharmD).
• New Hampshire Registered Pharmacist.
• CSP strongly preferred.
• 3 years specialty pharmacy experience; 5 years preferred.
• 3 years pharmacy management/teaching or mentorship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Specialty Pharmacy Program and collaborate with leadership.
• Oversee clinical workflows, counseling and documentation in charts.
• Work with specialty pharmacy vendors to improve compliance and performance.
• Ensure standards from accrediting bodies (URAC/ACHC) are met.
• Develop data reporting for accrediting bodies, payors and manufacturers.
• Chair the Specialty Pharmacy Quality Management Committee.
• Design protocols, care plans, patient support, and training modules.
• Assist recruiting and training of specialty staff.
• Collaborate with PIC for regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with clinic teams regarding med adjustments and patient status.
• Precept pharmacy students and residents as needed.

About The Job

In this role, the Pharmacist manages the Specialty Pharmacy Program for Elliot Health System. Working closely with Elliot Pharmacy at River's Edge and Physician practice leadership, this role is designed to support specialty prescription workflows and dual accreditation requirements.

What You'll Do

• Participate in day-to-day specialty operations, including fulfillment, staffing, and clinical workflows. Operations includes counseling patients with corresponding documentation in patient charts.
• Work collaboratively with specialty pharmacy support vendors (i.e., SHS) in all aspects of the specialty pharmacy program to drive compliance, efficiency and program performance.
• Ensure the program meets or exceeds standards from accrediting organizations (i.e., URAC/ACHC)
• Document, maintain, and organize program data to support reporting requirements of accrediting organizations, third‑party payors and drug manufacturers.
• Serve as Specialty Pharmacy Quality Management Committee Clinical Chair.
• Monitor, design and implement clinical protocols, plan of care, patient support programs, and specialty training modules.
• Participate in recruiting and training, of specialty-focused pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and pharmacy liaisons.
• Assist and collaborate with PIC to ensure legal compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Communicate with specialty pharmacy support vendors, community pharmacy, medication access, and ambulatory pharmacy teams and Elliot clinics regarding medication adjustments, prescription status and patient status.
• Precept pharmacy students and residents as needed.

What You'll Need

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE‑accredited pharmacy school. MBA, MHA, MPH or other graduate degree preferred.

New Hampshire Registered Pharmacist. Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP) strongly preferred.

3 years of specialty pharmacy experience required, 5 years preferred. 3 Years of pharmacy management experience, teaching or mentorship experience strongly preferred.
