Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician based in Westwood, MA to support the Specialty Pharmacy Fulfillment Lead and Pharmacists in accurate and timely RX fulfillment and delivery.

Responsibilities include inventory management, order processing, packaging, handling mail/delivery, and ensuring HIPAA/PHI compliance; requires a High School diploma, active Certified Pharmacy Technician license, 1–3 years experience, and familiarity with POS and web-based systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• License Certified Pharmacy Technician required; Certificate 1 Pharm Tech Cert Board preferred.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of the pharmacy fulfillment process including ordering and processing inventory, storage and rotation of stock, inventory, accurately filling/counting Rx orders, and processing payment utilizing the POS system.
• Processing, tracking, and communicating all Mail/delivery of Rx orders including addressing problems/issues with delivery process.
• Maintaining and procuring inventory of packaging and pharmacy supplies.
• Routine cleaning and maintenance of pharmacy and loading dock areas, including pharmacy equipment.
• Enforcement of HIPAA and PHI regulations during delivery process.

Required Qualifications:

Basic familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

340B experience.

Specialty Pharmacy experience.

Inventory, delivery, and/or Rx fulfillment experience.

Physical Nature of the Job:
Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and or up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Job is physical in nature and employee needs to stand and/or move around through the majority of their shift.

Pay Range:

$26.00 - $34.99

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geographyof work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
