AndHealth is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Manager to lead our specialty pharmacy program at a Community Health Center in Ohio. This full-time role involves clinical oversight, direct patient care, and program leadership in a fast-paced startup environment.

You will manage the Quality Management Program, drive quality initiatives, and support accreditation efforts while precepting interns and collaborating with health center staff to meet patients' clinical needs.

• Pharmacist degree and NABP FPGEC eligibility.

• Review payor formularies; handle prior authorizations and appeals.
• Oversee full workflow: insurance adjudication to packaging.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Specialty Pharmacy Manager to play an important role at AndHealth.

This is a full-time position located at a Community Health Center in Ohio .

What you'll do in the role

• Maintain oversight and participate in all specialty pharmacy services, providing clinical guidance and overseeing decision-making for the specialty pharmacy program.
• Deliver direct care, therapeutic recommendations, and counseling for patients with chronic conditions via the Patient Management Program, protocols, or collaborative practice agreements.
• Actively lead the pharmacy's Quality Management Committee, oversee the Quality Management Program, and champion quality initiatives at the pharmacy location.
• Implement, oversee, and report on Quality Improvement Projects throughout the pharmacy locations.
• Participate in URAC and ACHC specialty pharmacy accreditation preparation and visits, ensuring all required information is documented appropriately in specialty pharmacy software.
• Optimally initiate the Patient Management Program to complete initial and re‑assessments, and create appropriate care plans for patients requiring specialty medications.
• Support other AndHealth and Health Center providers and staff to address patients' clinical needs, and serve as a preceptor for pharmacy interns and students.
• Review payor formularies and complete prior authorizations and appeals as necessary for patients.
• Manage specialty pharmacy operations; supervise and participate in the full pharmacy production workflow - including insurance adjudication, filling, verification, and packaging.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Education & Licensure Requirements

• PharmD, BS in Pharmacy, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
• Unrestricted pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Ohio.
• Must be willing to obtain and maintain licenses in multiple states.

Other Skills or Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct patient care experience in pharmacy is required.
• 5+ years of pharmacy management experience preferred.
• BLS is required (or must be willing to obtain within 1 week after starting).
• Immunization delivery certification is preferred (or must be willing to obtain within 3 months after starting).
• Specialty pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple things simultaneously.
• Comfortable with technology and the ability to adapt to new systems.
• The position may require some travel; Must be willing to travel and have reliable transportation.

• Tuberculosis (TB) Screening: Documentation of a negative screening conducted within the last 12 months.
• Hepatitis B: Proof of a completed vaccine series or positive blood titers from within the last 12 months.
• Measles, Mumps, & Rubella (MMR): Proof of a completed vaccine series or positive blood titers from within the last 12 months.
• Varicella (Chickenpox): Proof of vaccination, documented medical history of the disease, or positive blood titers from within the last 12 months.
• Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis): Documentation of a booster administered within the last 10 years.
• Influenza: Proof of vaccination for the current flu season.
• COVID-19: Documentation of primary vaccine series and any boosters administered.
• General: Additional health requirements may be requested as necessary.
