Job summary

St. Luke's Home Delivery Pharmacy in Boise, Idaho is seeking a full-time Specialty Pharmacist to support the growth of our Specialty Pharmacy program.

This role provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including patient onboarding, medication therapy management, and clinical interventions within MSOT. You will collaborate with providers and care teams, supervise staff, administer immunizations, and help maintain regulatory compliance while advancing patient outcomes in a growing health-system

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent from an accredited school.
• Licensed Pharmacist in Idaho or eligible for licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct specialty patient assessments and onboarding activities.
• Review and verify specialty medication orders for appropriateness, safety, and effectiveness.
• Provide medication counseling, education, and ongoing clinical support to patients and caregivers.
• Collaborate with providers, nurses, and care teams to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes.
• Perform clinical interventions and document care activities according to standards.
• Answer patient and provider medication-related questions.
• Oversee specialty pharmacy workflow and supervise staff.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
