Education: accredited practical nursing program; Licensure: Oklahoma LPN license; Certs: Basic Life Support; may require unit-specific certifications and techniques including lifting patients as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent education.
• Current LPN license in the hiring state and BLS certification.
• ACLS/ALS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE or unit-specific certifications may be required.
• IV certification preferred within 1 year where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and care teams.
• Maintain accountability for provision of care for assigned patients.
