Job summary

Responsibilities

• Surprises and delights customers with consistent and delicious food.
• Engages in positive and proactive selling.
• Maintains fresh and appealing displays by keeping cases and shelves clean and stocked.
• Checks product to meet WFM quality standards.
• Monitors spoilage and waste to minimize expenses.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps samples area clean and appealing.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Accesses market condition information and communicates to customers.
• Ensures temperature, sanitation and logs are completed; arrives on time for shifts and trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling; answers phones promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary environment; proper equipment maintenance.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accurate pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
