Veritas Veterinary Partners is seeking Registered Veterinary Technicians for part-time or relief shifts at our Tustin, CA location. You will collaborate with board-certified specialists and a skilled team to deliver high-quality emergency and specialty care.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, imaging support, and compassionate nursing for hospitalized patients. The role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing learning, and exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician required.
• 2+ years working in a veterinary clinic.
• Emergency or Specialty experience preferred, but not required.

About Us

AVSG/VSSOC is growing, and we are excited to welcome experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians to our team for part time or relief shifts. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside Board‑Certified Criticalists, Surgeons, Internists, and Emergency Clinicians, supported by a highly skilled, collaborative team of RVTs and veterinary assistants dedicated to outstanding patient care.

Skillset

• Venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection
• Diagnostic imaging assistance and basic interpretation (radiographs, ultrasound support)
• Anesthesia monitoring (vitals, depth assessment, adjustments)
• Medication calculation and administration (IV, IM, SQ, CRIs)
• Fluid therapy setup and maintenance
• Surgical prep, sterile technique, and instrument handling
• Patient monitoring (vitals, pain scoring, trend recognition)
• Nursing care for hospitalized patients (nutrition, wound care, hygiene)

What you'll bring

• Registered Veterinary Technician required
• 2+ years working in a veterinary clinic
• Emergency or Specialty experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community we serve
• Reliable, organized, and committed to provide high level care to our patients and clients

Schedules

• Part time and relief
• Open to days, swings and overnights
• Shifts in ECC and Surgery / Anesthesia

Compensation

• $30.00 - $45.00 an hour
• Based on skillset, experience and credentials (RVT or VTS)
• Shift differentials for swings, overnights and weekends
