The role may involve Drug Court, DUI Court, Veterans Court, and Mental Health Court assignments. Hiring level will reflect education and experience, with compensation ranges tied to level I or II positions.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school required.
• Admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in good standing at hire.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license upon hire.
• Three years of experience for Prosecutor II consideration.

Responsibilities

• Represent the State in probation violation court hearings and other specialty courts as needed.
• Manage high-volume, fast-paced court calendars.
• Draft appropriate and accurate plea agreements and sentencing recommendations.
• Review and respond to motions in felony cases as assigned.
• Assist victims in asserting their rights at hearings and ensure compliance with discovery in probation revocation matters.
