Gate Gourmet in Las Vegas is hiring a Specialty Cook to interpret and produce specialty menus per specifications. You will handle high-volume, detail-rich prep and cooking for airline catering and maintain strict sanitary and safety standards.
The role requires a culinary degree or certification and at least five years of experience in specialty cuisine, with ability to pass a 20-year FBI background check for SIDA badge eligibility. Temporary shifts may apply.

A Specialty Cook is responsible for interpreting and producing specialty food and menus to specifications Must Be able to pass a 20 year FBI Background check to obtain Airport SIDA Badge. Must have Nevada food handler safety card ( Health Card)
Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise. Will work with cleaning solutions, people-safe chemicals and related equipment to thoroughly clean and sanitize food service equipment and facilities. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds. Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
Please keep in mind: Our workforce needs to remain flexible in your shifts and days off, as your schedule may fluctuate during peak seasons to meet production needs, requirements of the industry or to accommodate a shift bid in accordance with the Union contract. Dues and Initiation Fees are taken the first Thursday of the month, after the required probation period.
