Job summary

RamClean Commercial Cleaning & Janitorial Services seeks a detail-oriented Specialty Services Coordinator to join the Special Services Team in Ohio. This role focuses on high-impact cleaning tasks using specialized equipment and advanced techniques across floors, windows, and high areas.

The position requires 2+ years in specialized janitorial services, OSHA certifications preferred, and the ability to work evenings or weekends when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in specialized janitorial service.
• OSHA Aerial & Scissor Lift Certification preferred.
• OSHA PPE Certification preferred.
• Proficiency with floor chemicals, dilution ratios, and mechanical operation of industrial cleaning tools.
• Physical requirements include standing/walking 8+ hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Floor Care & Restoration: professional floor maintenance including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing hard surfaces; deep-clean carpet extraction and spotting; operate heavy machinery (auto-scrubbers, burnishers, industrial extractors).
• Specialized Window Cleaning: clean interior and exterior glass, mirrors, and partitions using squeegees, water-fed poles, or lift equipment; ensure streak-free finishes and track/sill detailing.
• High Dusting & Detail Work: dust vents, light fixtures, ceiling pipes, ledges; sanitize high-touch surfaces and architectural features.
• Equipment Maintenance: basic daily maintenance and cleaning of specialized equipment; report mechanical failures or supply shortages.
• Safety & Compliance: follow OSHA guidelines, chemical handling (SDS) and safety signage; operate aerial lifts or scaffolding as needed.

Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Specialty Services Coordinator to join our Special Services Team. Unlike a general porter role, this position focuses on high-impact technical cleaning tasks that require specialized equipment & advanced techniques.

You will be responsible for traveling to various locations to clean based on the scope of the job ensuring that windows, floors, surfaces, &/or hard-to-reach areas are left in pristine condition & exceeding customer expectations.

This is an individual contributor role that requires a high degree of self-management, physical stamina, & a "keen eye" for spots others might miss.

Key Responsibilities

Floor Care & Restoration

• Perform professional floor maintenance including stripping, waxing, buffing, & polishing hard surfaces
• Execute deep-clean carpet extraction & spotting
• Operate heavy machinery such as auto-scrubbers, burnishers, & industrial extractors

Specialized Window Cleaning

• Clean interior and exterior glass, mirrors, & partitions using squeegees, water-fed poles, or lift equipment as needed
• Ensure streak-free finishes & track/sill detailing

High Dusting & Detail Work

• Clear dust & debris from vents, light fixtures, ceiling pipes, & ledges (often requiring the use of ladders or lifts)
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces & architectural features

Equipment Maintenance

• Perform basic daily maintenance & cleaning of specialized equipment to ensure longevity & safety
• Report any mechanical failures or supply shortages immediately

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all OSHA & safety guidelines, specifically regarding chemical handling (SDS) & "CAUTION" signage
• Safely operate aerial lifts or scaffolding (as needed per job scope).

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

Technical Knowledge:

• Proficiency with floor chemicals, dilution ratios, & the mechanical operation of industrial cleaning tools

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Comfort working at heights (ladders & lifts)

Attention to Detail:

• A proactive mindset to identify areas needing deep-clean attention without constant supervision.
