Responsibilities

• Adapt activities to include special education students in classroom activities.
• Implement instruction for individuals or small groups to meet learning goals.
• Follow IEPs and district benchmarks in instruction and progress monitoring.
• Document progress and behavior plans as required by IEPs.
• Communicate regularly with teachers and families about student progress.
• Attend meetings and in-service presentations for professional development.
• Assist with breakfast, lunch, school routines, and personal care as needed.
• Support other staff to complete tasks and adjust to new assignments.
• Abide by the employee handbook and code of conduct.
