Bct Llc in Maryland is seeking a Specialized Infrastructure Services Systems Engineer to provide assessments of end-user architectures and develop system administration solutions. This role requires extensive experience in systems engineering and a strong understanding of end-user architectures.

As a Specialized Infrastructure Services Systems Engineer, you will provide systems engineering assessments of end‑user architectures and develop system administration solutions to meet required capabilities. You will help administer Windows, VMware, and desktop‑based systems, work with network, storage, and server personnel to define new or modified solutions to complex problems, respond to requests for new systems to meet capacity and user requirements, and install and administer user desktops for critical user‑access systems.
• Assess end‑user computer architectures to optimize resource management and allocation.
• Perform system capacity analysis and planning.
• Break down complex problem spaces, formulate technical strategies, build action plans, and track progress against established baselines to resolve technical challenges.
• Configure and manage Windows operating systems, VMware, installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, and maintain infrastructure integrity while implementing OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
$141,200 – $185,300 (general guideline; final offer depends on scope, responsibilities, and candidate profile)
