Job summary

Citi in Bengaluru is seeking a Specialized Analytics Manager (C12) to lead and supervise analytics teams, drive data-driven strategies, and ensure high-quality insights. You will guide data collection, modeling, and reporting across digital and marketing domains.

Strong expertise in SQL, Python/PySpark, and Adobe SiteCatalyst is required, with 6–10 years of experience and a background in financial services. This hybrid role reports to the Analytics organization.

• Relevant work experience in data quality, data analytics, data management within the financial services industry required
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Incumbents work with large and complex data sets to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies
• Identifies and compiles data sets using a variety of tools to help predict, improve, and measure the success of key business to business outcomes
• Responsible for documenting data requirements, data collection / processing / cleaning, and exploratory data analysis; which may include utilizing statistical models / algorithms and data visualization techniques
• Specialization in marketing or digital fields possible
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for Citi's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Job Overview

The Specialized Analytics Manager provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility. Provides operational/service leadership and direction to team(s). Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required. Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Full supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.
