Job summary

CHANEL is seeking a Specialist in Visual Merchandising for Watches & Fine Jewelry to oversee VM standards in-store and during events. You will collaborate with the Group Director to implement guidelines for windows, fixtures, and displays, ensuring consistency with VM photos and guidelines.

The role requires 3+ years in a luxury environment, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and events. Base salary supports competitive compensation and perks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a similar position, preferably with a luxury jewelry or timepiece brand.
• Comprehensive knowledge of jewelry and timepieces, merchandising and visual display.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email.
• High level of professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork with clients, employees & management.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and oversee VM direction, animations, and guidelines to Image Ambassadors and boutique management.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with boutique management to support merchandise initiatives and business needs.
• Coordinate movement and storage of display elements with Visual Merchandise Manager.
• Ensure windows and selling floor are merchandised per VM guidelines between floor sets, window installations, and launches.
• Ensure full-boutique photographs are taken post floor and window set per VM photo guidelines and updated in Dropbox.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of projects and delivering timely results.

About the Role

Specialist, Visual Merchandising – Watches & Fine Jewelry. Oversees coordination of all visual merchandising standards within the boutique during hours and events, working with the Group Director, WFJ VM, to implement and maintain guidelines for window installs and fixtures.

• Full‑time in‑store and in‑person presence required to support client sales and service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email.
• Comprehensive knowledge of jewelry and timepieces, merchandising and visual display.
• Experience with digital photography and phone applications for projects.
• Education or experience in Display and Exhibition Design or comparable Art/Fashion related study.
• Minimum of 3 years in a similar position, preferably with a luxury jewelry or timepiece brand.
• High level of professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork with clients, employees & management.
• Ability to flex and assist with operational/sales floor tasks as needed.
• Capability to move heavy items (up to 25 lbs) and perform overhead lifting, pulling, and pushing.
• Flexible schedule, able to work late nights, weekends, holidays, and events.

Compensation

• Base salary range: $80,000 – $100,000. Variable pay, bonus potential, benefits and perks may also be offered.
