Job summary

Villeroy & Boch Group is seeking an in-store ambassador to support wholesale accounts in Fairfax County, VA, or Montgomery County, MD. The role is 15 hours per week and covers merchandising, training, and communication with store management.

The position requires at least one year in retail or merchandising, strong communication and organizational skills, and availability for weekends/evenings with travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in retail, merchandising or tabletop industry.
• Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, presentation, interpersonal relationships, time management, organization, and analysis.
• Must have home computer or laptop with reliable internet, and a mobile phone and email address for role tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/evenings; able to travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Implement seasonal floor plans and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Replenish stock on selling floors and maintain display cleanliness.
• Execute directives for upcoming promotions and incentives.
• Educate store personnel on product benefits, introductions, discontinuations, pricing, availability, merchandising standards, and promotions.
• Supply brochures, digital assets, and other POS materials.
• Provide regular feedback about space, stock, trends, and price issues to the manager.
• Provide photographs of displays as needed.
• Participate in in-store bridal, pop-up and special events.

Villeroy & Boch is looking for a highly talented individual who can serve as an in-store ambassador 15 hours per week supporting Villeroy & Boch’s wholesale accounts in the designated territory - Fairfax County (VA) or Montgomery County (MD) - in the areas of merchandising, training, and communication, including building rapport with key management.

Responsibilities

• Implement seasonal floor plans and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Replenish stock on the selling floors and maintain the cleanliness of the displays.
• Execute directives for upcoming promotions and incentives.
• Educate store personnel on the benefits of Villeroy & Boch products including information about new introductions, discontinuations, pricing, product availability, merchandising standards, and upcoming promotions.
• Supply brochures, digital assets, and other POS materials.
• Provide regular feedback to your manager about space & location of store presentations, floor moves, customer trends, requests, stock, quality issues, price discrepancies, and competitive information.
• Provide photographs of displays as needed.
• Participate in in-store bridal, pop-up and special events.

Qualifications

• You have a minimum of one year of experience in retail, merchandising or the tabletop industry.
• You have excellent skills in the areas of communication, negotiation, presentation, interpersonal relationships, time management, organization, and analysis.
• You have a home computer or laptop with effective internet service and a mobile phone and email address that can all be used to perform tasks associated with your role.
• Microsoft Word and Excel are standard tools for you.
• Your schedule is flexible allowing you to work weekends or evenings and travel within the territory as required.
• You are currently authorized to work in the United States.
